Hi Edman,Assaf is right, either modify or remove the arrow and also try placing spectators at impossible rock formations like an overhead hanging rock formation or something that the players craft will never ever reach them that way you could avoid the 'spectator avoidance' and remove that feature in a new patch or something just to make sure. You never know when players might actually find a way to reach those spectators.Also the pedestrians in GTA do not avoid the players vehicle.

The game's alreadyout and we don't have much time for large changes. The side compassis already there, the arrow was just a substiture - but without arrow,theres nothing to guide you in the freeride. It's been like half a yearform now. We use our own technology for terrain. Scene is devided tosegments and we are working with them. It is quite complicated thoughand not suitable for larger scenes - it requires large amnounts of textures. First of all: Congratulations to this really good game! When crashing into another car (which I did quite often to see the nice deforming effects) it can happen that the front piece of the other car hangs on your front of the car. If that's the case, your car jumps around as long as you don't hit any key. Seems as the movement of the actual car is also added to my car via the piece hanging on my car after the crash (I hope that it is clear what I mean).2. It can also happen that after a crash caused by me, two car stand in front of each other and just try the smash the other away by driving a bit backwards just to drive then again forward to hit the other one. They did that for quite along time (after a while I drove away because just whatching these two cars became boring ).I can only second that the first race is really hard (but you've explained why).
The other race (with this fancy offroad car you automatically get for it) is quite cool and also challenging.All in all a really cool project with awesome graphics! Looking forward to buy it and play the whole game.
